2010 Dodge Caliber is the futuristic car which can be your choice to have as the family vehicle.

Chrysler has released a five-door C-segment hatchback, the Dodge Caliber. The Dodge Caliber featuring an all-new Euro V capable engine is paired to a six-speed manual transmission and produces 120 kW (163 hp DIN) and 320 Nm (236 lb.-ft.), delivering 16 percent more power, 3 percent more torque and 25 percent more towing capability (1500 kg) compared with the previous diesel engine. Forged steel connecting rods, aluminum head and pistons, and fourth-generation direct-injection system provide durability, weight reduction and performance. Passenger refinement also improves as dual balance shafts and sound-deadening materials reduce the diesel engine’s vibration and harshness by 25 percent compared with the previous Dodge Caliber CRD.

2008 Dodge Caliber

2008 Dodge Caliber

About This Vehicle
Model strengths:
Economy pricing with personality; lots of gadgets for less money; AWD and CVT availability; potent performance with SRT4 version; excellent limited lifetime powertrain warranty.

2008 Dodge Caliber

Model changes:
Now in its second year of production, Dodge's 2008 Caliber retains its low price and high mpg reputation, but also adds the oomph of the company's performance division with a new $22,435 SRT4 model, which features a 285-horsepower turbocharged 2.4L inline four and aggressive styling. The base model becomes the SE, and the SXT and R/T models get some additional standard features for 2008.

Model value:
The 2008 Dodge Caliber SE comes standard with a slew of air bags and a smattering of gadgets. Its $14,000 price point places it squarely in the middle of the entry-level market it's targeting, but with more style and available options than many of its rivals. Buyers who opt for higher horsepower, more speakers, and all-wheel drive can still spend less than $23,000.

2009 Dodge Caliber

About This Vehicle
Model strengths:
Comfortable interior; smooth ride; innovative, unrivaled features; R/T model's sporty, well balanced feel

Model changes:
The Dodge Caliber lineup is mostly carried over from 2008, although standard equipment has been increased, option packages have been revised and there have been a few minor appearance changes. The MusicGate Power Sound package is now standard on the SXT Sport, and anti-lock brakes are now standard on the SXT. Floor mats have been made standard on the SXT and R/T, while Sirius Satellite Radio and a reconfigurable trip computer are newly standard on the SRT4. All-wheel-drive models have been discontinued for 2009, so all Calibers now have front-wheel drive. All Calibers get more sound insulation to keep out engine and exhaust noise. For all Calibers, new Dodge badging has been added, while SXT models get body-color door handles. Also in the color palette, Light Khaki Metallic and Steel Blue Metallic Clear Coats have been replaced by Deep Water Blue Pearl Coat and Light Sandstone Metallic Clear Coat.

The Caliber is Dodge's small-car line and is offered only in one body style, as a tall five-door hatchback. Caliber SE models with the five-speed manual transmission are estimated to achieve 30 mpg on the highway. The Caliber is offered at a very competitive price and stands out for its versatile interior and for the wide range of innovative features that are offered, such as the MusicGate tailgate speaker system, Chill Zone beverage storage and rechargeable flashlight. And for those who require more performance, the SRT4 has the hard-edged driving experience of a tuner car.

2009 Dodge Avenger

2009 Dodge Avenger

Model strengths:
Fuel efficiency; standout exterior styling; innovative interior features; lifetime powertrain warranty.

Model changes:
Following its introduction in 2008, the Dodge Avenger receives few changes for 2009. For starters, the lineup shrinks, as the base SE has been dropped, leaving only the SXT and R/T models. The availability of all-wheel drive has also been dropped.

Extra noise-reducing materials have been added to the Avenger, and SXT and R/T models now feature anti-lock brakes, a rear spoiler, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls and fog lamps as standard equipment. The R/T also adds 18-inch chrome wheels and various interior convenience items to its list of standards.

Model value:
The 2009 Dodge Avenger is a smart, boldly styled mid-size competitor to the Chevy Malibu, Ford Fusion and Toyota Camry. The Avenger has expanded standard-feature content, including side air bags, anti-lock brakes, an alarm and the innovative Chill Zone cooler system. Several options, such as the MyGig audio/navigation system and heated/cooled cup holder, also differentiate it feature-wise from other mid-size sedans.
